Designing a Facebook landing page: 12 of the best!
By Brady Nord | Published July 22nd, 2010 in designI felt it necessary to congratulate and portray some of the successes of Facebook on this very big occasion.
As of today (July 21st) Facebook has succeeded in signing up 500 million accounts! This is obviously a huge number and it’s not only individuals. As many of you already know we are seeing more and more companies jumping on the bandwagon in an effort to extend their reach beyond the typical platforms.
The site wide uniformity of Facebook has been a flagship characteristic of the Facebook and it seems they have worked very hard to stay within their original business model. Despite this, they have created Facebook fan pages with many different apps that you can use as a way to customize your business presence. Up till now, we have mainly seen this space used for coupons and promotions.
This obviously isn’t a tutorial on how to design a company landing page, but rather I hope to inspire you as to what successfully companies are doing within this space.
Victoria’s Secret
Coca Cola
Adidas
Red Bull
Kit Kat
Gary Vaynerchuk
Toyota
Mashable
Taco Bell
Louis Vuitton
Gap

Nice post man. I have to agree, Victoria secret is mind blowing…
I’ve never set one of these up, but I’m really inspired by these. If anyone has tips or knows of a good tutorial for this, let me know!
Would love to get peoples comments on a facebook page we just re-launched, old site just used text and boxes, many of these sites served as inspiration, but at the end of the day we came up with this:

Thank you, Eko!
Facebook pages are great, however getting people to ‘like’ your page is the hard part!
very good collection……………..:)
Really great roundup here, particularly like Gary Vee’s Facebook page, the handwritten style is awesome. I think the fact that all the big brands are now focusing on Facebook pages shows how important they are

Wow! I love all of ‘em! I’ve seen the one from Victoria’s Secret. But, I loved the one from Red Bull the most. *LOL* Thanks for this list!
Oh, by the way, you can use FireShot, a Firefox addon that lets you take a screenshot of a website. It can even take a screenshot of the whole web page for you so you can post it “uncut”. You can set it to Visible area only or Entire page.
Just wondering. All of these were great but about Mashable’s, it’s so plain. There isn’t anything that’s worth ‘playing’ with on their FBML canvas
how about this one?

Nice article. Thanks
It’s so hard to find things like this, so thank you for posting them. I have a mobile company which needs a decent Facebook page, so I’m pleased that I’ve got the inspiration now
Wow, this just goes to show that even working within the confines of the FB Fan fage infrastructure, great work is VERY possible.
Most of them just look like websites -especially VS…
Relly lovin Adidas page … designing these pages could be the next big thing !

Great stuff, I might update mine after seeing that insperation
There are some really eye catching landing pages, aimed at a clear target audience.
Simply WOW!!! These landing pages seem delicious enough to attract people to visit their websites.
Nice – Red Bull, Toyota, Gary and NBA, Victoria is a bit boring
Would love any feedback anyone would have for ours:

Lovely looking landing pages. But what more can you do with a landing page? Adding a web form such as a Feedback, contact, registration, product order form would turn the traffic into potential sales lead.
On our PandaForm Blog, a web based form builder and manager, we’ve written a 10 step how-to tutorial on embedding a form into a Facebook Fanpage. http://blog.pandaform.com/fun/ow-to-embed-pandaform-in-a-faceboo-page/
Hi Brady Nord, maybe I can give you a tip to make easily screenshots :
Use Fireshot, a free plugin for Mozilla Firefox. You will be able to make full-page screenshot. Good for you ! Enjoy

It is important to capture the subscriber’s attention. Images like these would surely make them stop and look giving your site the exposure it needs.
DesignCrowd has one of the best: http://www.facebook.com/DesignCrowd
Great Pages. The one we built for ourselves is pretty good too:
