In case only few elements requires Photoshop design, then I build my website with netbeans, then I design some elements within photoshop. This avoids producing x number of .psd for pages with just few differences, and having to integrate them. If it is mainly complex images, i may build the site first in photoshop.

But designing the whole site first in photoshop is not to me the best way to spend less time on a project, because sometimes, you can think in terms of integration before designing. But maybe, I think, in case of complex or more artistic designs, it gives an easier way to have an overall preview.

I always wanted to be a web designer but i know myself i lack the creativity, so i have been teaching myself code and the past year or so every website i have created i have what i call “Browser Designed” meaning i code the layout the way i want.

If i need graphics i use Photoshop. I must say i have completed many more projects this way and find it much easier, maybe this could help beginners who lack that spark of creativity.
