Designer Showcase: Chris Spooner
Last week I started a new series of posts that will feature various designers from around the world. Today we’ll continue with the series by featuring Chris Spooner of SpoonGraphics.
Most of you are probably familiar with Chris’ blog, and if you’re not, you should definitely check it out. Chris is an extremely talented designer and tutorial writer, plus he’s very approachable. At the end of this post you’ll see links to his social networking profiles in case you want to connect with him.

Hometown:
Sheffield, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
Design experience:
Probably around 3 (and a bit) years professional experience, plus time during studying and general experimentation in Deluxe Paint III on my Amiga.
Educational background:
I studied for A levels in Art & Design and Design & Technology, a HND in Multimedia Design and ended up with a BA(HONS) in Art & Design.
Currently available for client work?
Yes, I am indeed taking on client work, although possibly more so in a couple of weeks time.
Areas of specialization or focus:
I primarily concentrate on logo and website design, but I’m equally comfortable and enjoy producing design material for print. The occasional t-shirt or skateboard deck often helps add some variety to my day too!
