Very nice article on some sound financial tips that I think everyone should take a few seconds to think about.

I will agree that getting any sort of insurance is worth it in the long run. I went without because I wanted to save my 50~70 dollars a month and then ended up with a collapsed lung that cost me far more then having insurance for years would have. It can be a pain to pay out every month, but its well worth it when you need it.

Good points! here my two cents: get another phone number (or cell phone) to use only for working purposes. I started giving my personal number to clients and it was not a wise choice both from a financial point of view (I didn’t know how much I was spending for personal calls and how much for business) and from a private life point of view (no more peace even late at night!).
