What a great list! That’s what I was looking for yesterday and you just wrote it today. You must have been reading in my mind. 😉
Great list of job boards. I have used a lot of them and even gotten some pretty quality work from a few like, FreelanceSwitch and AuthenticJobs. Although, the most work I think I have gotten is from social networks and just interacting on them. Some of my biggest clients found me on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
Always good to network, it is a lot more than entertainment when you are a freelance and even when you are looking for a full time gig.

Very helpful, thank you.
Very nice collection of links, we have been to some of these websites and would love to see the rest. There is one site I would want to add to this list and that is 99designs.com. It is unique in its own style and works very well for both designers and people looking to get something designed by multiple designers. Its crowd sourcing.
Thank you for your sharing, i looking forward to hiring new job.
This article is helpful for me
Maybe i’ll try something new. Many usefull job sources – thanks a lot!
It looks like developers are more in demand. Could it be that more developers now have day-to-day design skills or is it that designers are becoming programmers?
Either way, it is no longer clear cut so if you are a designer, getting some programming chops sounds like a good idea. There is a MASSIVE amount of resources to get programming anyway and a cource in programming would not go astray.
aris,
It definitely seems from these sites that there is more demand for developers. My guess is because developers tend to be more specialized. Skilled graphic designers can design all different types of sites, but developers may need very specific skills for a certain job.
You should never underestimate the power of craigslist!
Aetoric Design,
True, but the purpose of this list was to point out niche-specific resources aside from the big sites like Craigslist, Monster, and Career Builder.

Awesome list! 🙂 I recently started out as a freelance web designer so this helps a lot to find work (which is my main problem right now). At least until I start getting referred ;).
I also found this site (http://www.ineedapricequote.com). Take a look at it if you get a chance and let me know if it’s something I should use.
Thanks!
Not such a great list! most people should know these places if they really want to get a job
Jayanta,
There are a lot of people out there that aren’t familiar with more than a few of these.
While most of these are job boards, it can take a lot of time to browse all these so I just use freelance job aggregators like http://www.webfreelancing.com, makes it easy to find jobs across sites for categories I’m best at.. like for WordPress Jobs I just click the WordPress category and get a list of lots of freelance wordpress stuff, etc. Or you can just go to a more general category. There’s lots of aggregators out there, some search different sites. Check them out!!
Wow ! a lot of job list over there !!
that help us……. wowh… nice guys…
Yay! thanks for sharing
that help us……. wowh… nice guys

Terrific article! Thx for the post.
Here’s a Web jobs site definitely worth a mention- http://Webbyslist.com
Largest list of Web jobs I’ve seen. It aggregates jobs from the major sites you mention above in a single list- so no need to scour multiple sites:) Free to search or post, constantly updated w/ fresh jobs, and stupid simple interface. Also comes in RSS & Twittr flavors http://Twitter.com/Webbyslist
Thanks for sharing these useful list.
Digital Point forums is alright but all of the middle eastern competition drives the prices way low. The same thing with Craigslist so much competition you won’t get much for quality work. But sometimes you can get a good gig. If you’re a pro website designer then work will come to you.
