    I hate to say it but most of those websites are bland and run-of-the-mill, which I guess means they’re tailored to those companies tastes perfectly! :P

    Seriously. Starbucks is much better than most other sites. Perfect balance of images and text.

    On another hand, any site using Flash would be a turn off. There are beautiful sites made without Flash. (Dig at McD and Starbucks)
