Textures are very popular with the DesignM.ag community. If you are just getting started with graphic design you may not be familiar with how textures are used. In Photoshop using a texture means you are placing an image on top of your image or design and creating a texture. The texture is created by using blend modes or the opacity feature to adjust the levels. You can use the feature as subtle or as prevalent as you see fit. My favorite ones were the bokeh and the denim jean textures. They look awesome. I just wish there were better wood textures, however.
