13 Theme and Template Clubs for Designers

For those who purchase premium themes and templates, clubs can provide an opportunity to get access to a lot of themes or templates for a low price. Most clubs cater to designers who want to start a freelance business and use the themes and templates on client projects (with customizations of course). In this post we’ll provide some information on the leading club memberships for WordPress themes as well as for HTML/CSS templates.

WordPress Theme Clubs:

WooThemes
WooThemes offers more than 40 themes that can be purchased individually or as part of the club. Membership costs include a one-time fee and a monthly fee. Standard club membership costs $125 plus $15 per month. Developer’s club membership costs $200 plus $20 per month.

Elegant Themes
Elegant Themes currently provides access to 26 premium WordPress themes (new themes are added periodically), and existing themes are also updated and improved from time-to-time. A one-year membership costs only $19.95.

StudioPress
StudioPress is run by well-known WordPress designer Brian Gardner. There are currently 14 themes that can be purchased individually from StudioPress, or you can pay a one-time fee of $199.95 for access to all themes, as well as future theme updates.

Press75 has 11 premium themes that are sold individually, or for a one-time fee of $275 you can get unlimited access to all of the themes, including those that are released in the future.

The All Access Pass from iThemes offers 12 months of unlimited access and use of more than 30 themes for $499.95. This allows for unlimited use of the themes on your own sites or on client sites.

PremiumThemes.net has 25 themes that they sell individually or as part of a club for $399 for one year. With the club membership you get the right to use the themes on an unlimited number of sites, including those of clients.

Natty WP
Natty WP offers 25 themes individually, plus a few different club options. If you want access to all of their themes for your own use or for your company website, prices are as follows: $75 for 3 months, $90 for 6 months, or $125 for 12 months. If you’d like to be able to use the themes on clients sites the price is $300 for 12 months.

ThemeLayouts
ThemeLayouts offers more than 200 WordPress themes, 70 Joomla templates and 30 osCommerce templates. Membership is $59.95 for unlimted downloads (can be used on up to 50 client sites). ThemeLayouts is part of DreamTemplate, so you will have access to both.

Theme Hybrid is free to join and offers access to seven themes, or you can pay $25 per year to get access to the support forums and tutorials.

TemplateWire
TemplateWire offers CSS templates, Flash templates, and logo templates. You can get unlimited access to their templates for use on as many sites as you want (including client sites) for $49 for 12 months or $29 for 3 months.

Templatica is run by Alen Grakalic of CSS Globe. Currently there are eleven themes that can be purchased individually, or the club membership gives you unlimited access for $24 per year.

DreamTemplate offers unlimited downloads of over 5,000 templates (including CSS and Flash templates) for $59.95 per year. Templates can be used for up to 50 clients.
