This contest has ended. Congrats to Cara, Duffy, and Tom!!

JumpeyeComponents.com has offered to giveaway 3 free Slideshow Box Premium HTML License to some lucky DesignM.ag readers. The value of this giveaway is $99 (per license).

SlideshowBox is an application that allows you to easily create HTML and Flash photo slide show galleries. The Flash component is supported by all Adobe Flash CS versions. The HTML embeddable as SWF objects (they require Flash Player 9+) and some of them as pure JavaScript slide shows. There are 24 different templates you can use to create your slide shows which gives you a lot a of flexibility. See below for some screen shots of their templates or visit their Slideshow Templates page.

Benefits of SlideshowBox

- create beautiful photo galleries with just a few mouse clicks
- no coding needed
- 24 fully customizable slideshows
- 5 full JavaScript slideshows
- FREE for non-commercial use

With the premium license (starting at $99) you get all 24 templates with over 100 presets. All with no coding! Even better, some of the templates are available as pure JavaScript which makes them iPhone/iPad friendly. In the future they will be releasing more of these pure JavaScript versions.

The DesignM.ag team was given a free license to try out for this post. This is a pretty sweet setup. They have a very easy to understand How To so as to avoid any confusion. The templates are clean and professional. I can definitely see us using this product in client presentations. I can think of many occasions where I wanted to put together a gallery that had really clean professional look but in my mind I thought that it might take hours to put it together. This product is the antithesis of taking hours to put together. If you have your photos together you can literally build a slide show in 5 minutes.

If you want to enter the giveaway simply leave a comment on this post. The winners will be selected on Friday July 23, 2010. Good luck!

This seems like a great alternative to flash only slideshows. While I like the ease of use with flash it’s often nice to have a cross browser compatible version in html and javascript.
