Same with the title. If your page is titled "About Me" and it's using the homepage template it will show up like it does in the tutorial. It works with HTML, so you can enter just text, or you can enter text with an image and use CSS to float the image to one side or the other. You can enter any HTML in that box that you want to be used in the featured area when the web design tab is selected. If you enter some test code in that value I think you'll understand how it works.
